Description

In this two hour workshop, you will make your own wooden 6 - pack beer holder with a beer opener on one side.  Great for bringing drinks to your next gathering!

You'll be using the miter saw, band saw, hand sander, drill press and hand drill to cut and assemble your beer caddy.  This is a beginners class, so no prior knowledge or skill are needed to take this class. You will leave this class with a completely assembled 6-pack holder to finish (paint, stain, engrave) anyway you like.

Your instructor, Bridget is long time member of the Tool Library.  She is on the Programming Committee and she wants to give back by sharing some of her skills with you.   She spends a lot of her free time working on different projects from home renovations to, well, 6-pack holders.

MN Tool Library
The Minnesota Tool Library is a membership based non profit which offers members access to tools, workshop space, and community. By sharing access to tools, no one needs to own costly tools for occasional use. With MTL, we all have low-cost access to the tools we need, when we need them. Moreover, we engage the community to expand its collective skill set, helping each other to learn which tools to use for meaningful projects and connect with each other while doing it. Classes are vital to MTL’s mission. They open the doors to all to learn about different tools, how to handle them and empower community members to create projects of their own.
